Determining who are the best feeling fanbases in the NFL every week, is determined on a few things. How well they are set up for a playoff run, how well the team has been playing lately, and if they had an especially fun game like a blowout win or a comeback win. A surprising win can make a worse team feel better than the good team sneaking by an easy opponent.
Honorable Mentions
Chiefs: Bye week. Chiefs fans have to feel great with the second best record in the AFC. They, of course, have Patrick Mahomes, Andy Reid, and one of the best offenses in the NFL. Even though they didn’t play, their fans have to be sitting back very comfortably, knowing how good the team is.
Seahawks: 27-13 win over Giants. The Seahawks continue to look better and better. A week after their most impressive win 37-23 over the Chargers, they put together another complete game, beating a hot Giants team that had won 4 straight. It would have been more too if Tyler Lockett didn’t fumble on his own 2 yard line and drop an easy touchdown. Seattle fans have to feel great, this team just proved itself again that they are a great team.
49ers: 31-14 win over Rams. Christian McCaffery has arrived. After his first week with the team, where he wasn’t utilized much in his first game. McCaffery was all over the field against the Rams, recording a rushing, receiving, and passing touchdown, the first time anyone has done this since Ladanian Tomlinson in 2005. The offense looks like it received a huge boost, to go with a great defense, the 49ers look like one of the best teams in the NFC. 49er fans also get to relish beating their rivals for the second time this year and in commanding fashion.
#3 Bills
27-17 win over the Packers. The Bills jumped out to a huge 24-7 halftime lead, and even with a down second half, comfortably won 27-17. With a rock solid win over an increasingly desperate Packers team, Bills mafia has a lot to feel very good about. They have one of the MVP favorites in Josh Allen playing at his peak, have won four games in a row, and have the best record in the conference. If the Bills didn’t take their foot off the gas, and look mortal in the second half they would easily be number 1 or 2. Even with that, Bills fans are feeling great and you can easily argue they should be higher because of the Josh Allen factor alone, but this week they come in as the 3rd best feeling fanbase.
#2 Cowboys
49-29 win over the Bears. The Cowboys have one of the best defenses in the NFL, but their offense has been lacking most of the year. Now entering week 8, Dak had only played one full game, but still the fact the offense had not scored over 25 points all year was a little worrisome. This Sunday, the Cowboys had no problems on offense, scoring touchdowns on their first four possessions and routing the Bears 49-29. Cowboy’s fans have a lot to feel good about. Not only do they get a blowout win, but their perceived weakness, the offense, looked fantastic and they still have maybe the best defense in the NFL.
#1 Eagles
35-13 win over the Steelers. The Eagles stay undefeated, moving to 7-0. While it wasn’t against strong competition, the Eagles did what they needed to do, which is alway easier said than done in the NFL. Continuing to look like the most complete team in the NFL, both the offense and defense excelled. Hurts was very good throwing for 285 yards and 4 touchdowns (3 to AJ Brown) and the defense recorded 6 sacks and forced 2 turnovers. Blowouts always feel good, and if your team is undefeated too, you are probably the best feeling fan base.
